NAFA is honoured to host Tay's 10th solo exhibition that will showcase a series of 10 large-scale woodblocks prints inspired by the graceful Dayak people of Sarawak. Immaculately executed on gold and silver fabric depicting Dayak women and his signature motifs, two of these woodblocks prints span over 4.5 metres in length, each which took Tay close to three years to complete. As an artist, Tay is highly versatile and experimental, daring to venture into the unknown and finding his own footing in the use of new materials.
