Artificial Paradise presents the new photographic works from the winners of the Kwek Leng Joo Prize for Excellence in Still Photography 2010, Abednego Trianto and Rachel Lim.

This two person exhibition explores the irrational variance and ironic harmony among objects, people and their space. The exhibition includes still life photographs that are constructed from miniatures and documentary portraits of tourists in Hainan beach resorts. Together the two artists show the reciprocal actions of the intimate and the satirical, aspects of a private and public landscape consumed by homogenized materialism.
