This exhibition showcases a series of impressionistic watercolor art works by French artist, Didier Bayle, on various sceneries with iconic pre-war houses, most noticeable by their blinds of black and white strips, often termed as "Black & White Houses".
Didier Bayle's expression and perception of countries have a touch of Asian style. His artworks bear the influence of his sejour in Macau and several places in Asia. His brush strokes are realistic and precise in shaping out the architecture contrasting with the freer and more imaginative painting for the garden trees and tropical flora, giving his art works an impressionistic frame.
