Bai Jin Shun graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 1981. His ideas for abstract works are inspired from his frequent trips to the mountains (Huang Shan) in China. Bai paints on mulberry paper, which is very rough in texture, making it difficult to maintain composure with a plain paint brush. Hence, he created his bowl curving skills to craft each painting with feel, strength and skills. He is well known for his landscape and horse paintings.
