Vibha did her MFA in Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharti, Santiniketan. Her art is about “re-coding”. recoding at many levels, between the artist and the artwork, where thought is de-coded into a representation.
For Vibha, the city is the inspiration. Time, space and consciousness tell a story about the global city through her art. The city, an entity whose growth and change represents not only the physical manifestation of the global but also the mindset of the generation that is remodelling the city to create a different definition for life.
She has exhibited extensively both in India as well as internationally. Highlights include the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai, Aicon art gallery, London, Gut Gasteil – An organization for art in landscape Austria. Her works are currently in the following collections: Devi art foundation,india ,Casoria Contemporary Art Museum,Italy, GUT GASTEIL a open air Museum Austria, Saga Art College Japan, Europas Parkas Lithuania, ABC Gallery Varanasi. Haryana Cultural Affair Dept. Chandigarh and in many Private Collections.
