This year 2011 marks the fifteenth year of HaKaren Art Gallery's establishment in Singapore. To celebrate this significant milestone, HaKaren heralds in "A Wondrous 15th", a group exhibition showcasing works of the gallery's in-house artists in their most poignant paintings and sculptures.

Every milestone is an opportunity for renewal and progress for the gallery, which champions innovation alongside tradition, an impeccable criteria in its selction of represented artists. To mark this joyous occasion, HaKaren Art Gallery presents works of the gallery's prominent artists Yue Mingjun, Wei Xiaoming, Tian Xutong, Hu Yongkai, Xie Ke, Fang Xiang, Shen Jingdong,  Ren Zhe,  Chen Liu, Huang Gang, Li Xiushi, Ren Jianhui, Shen Shubin, Wang Haitao, Wang Qijun, Wang Xingyang, Xue Dai, Yang Tao, and Zhao Tianxin.

The much anticipated exhibition takes place from 27 August to 4 September 2011 at the ION Art Gallery, a generous arts space exuding similar quality to the mall it is perched on. Architecturally modern with its sleekly curved walls and spatial fluidity, it is delectably suited as a platform to showcase HaKaren's range of always forward and modern range of Contemporary Chinese art.
