This is the artist's first solo show and also the gallery’s first full scale exhibition. This pioneer of Chinese avant-garde art in Singapore and South East Asia, is a recipient of the CCAA (Chinese Contemporary Art Award) Lifetime Contribution Award 2012. In this exhibition, Geng Jianyi is featuring rarely seen works spanning 30 years of his career, based on his distinctive exploration on individual identity.
