Born in Korea in 1963, Lee Jung Woong made a name for himself internationally with his series of hyper and photo-realistic "Brush" Paintings.
Using Chinese ink and oil paint on Korean paper, Lee imbues a convergence of Eastern and Western influences - bringing abstraction and realism, motion and stillness all together on the same canvas.
He continues to surprise the viewer with the extremely meticulous reality of his works. So real, people unwittingly try to ascertain if they are real photos by using a magnifying glass.
Ode To Art is pleased to present you Lee Jung Woong's solo exhibition, Stillness in Motion, which will be opened by our Guest of Honour H.E. Oh Joon, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Singapore.
Come and discover the vibrancy and motion in the stillness of Lee Jung Woong's photo-realistic paintings.
