She feels a strong affinity with people and nature; and her paintings amply portray that love.  Animals and plants make their presence felt in her Chinese ink, while people dominate her fine art oils.  Even in her abstracts, her themes are found in nature.

Bali is also a constant refrain in Leslie’s art.  She has traveled its nooks and crannies, allowing the sheer beauty of its land and the warm friendliness of the people to capture her senses. It’s no wonder that these feelings find its vivid expression in many of Leslie’s paintings.
