Featuring 5 promising young artists from Singapore, A Persistent Illusion explores the idea of perception, and questions the notions of illusion and reality. Just like the layers of paint on a pure, blank canvas, Truth is often shrouded, and what we see is illusory.  Yet, these illusions do not exist out in the world, but rather within us – even our eyes deceive us.  A Persistent Illusion aims to delve into this idea through the artists’ own notions and perceptions of the elusive nature of reality and Truth through their art.
