Nhim Minh was born in the Hanoi in 1968 as part of a 4th generation northern farming family. The parents of the first few generation born there were mostly farmer. Nhim Minh first contact with art on a regular basis began as a child when his father would take him to the city whereby his uncle run a street stall selling oil painting for a living. His father decided to let him learn from his uncle and acquired a skill. So from a tender age of 12 years old, he follow his uncle and learn painting. At the age of 18, his uncle finally agreed to let him paint on his own but still restriction on the subject because uncle worry that the painting cannot be sold..... Since than his painting has been sold to many tourist through out the world. After twenty years of constant practice. At 35, Nhim Minh finally save enough money to open an art gallery on his own. Now he is very happy as there isn t any restriction to him now. He can paint any things that he like. His favourite is scenery art and now his passion in his life is to continue his journey of art.
