Shopping defines us. Our identity is formed in relation to what we buy, what we see others buy, and what we then decide to buy. ‘The Art and Science of Shopping’ is a site-specific installation, event and collaborative performance featuring artists Soh Ee Shaun, Ng Ling Ling and Chong Li-Chuan. The show will feature a live drawing and sonic art performance between Ee Shaun and Chuan on 13 July, as well as installations created from the results of a “mass-crochet” session by staff and students from Republic Polytechnic.
