Mercedes-Benz and Gallery V invite you to discover the secret beauty of Vietnamese paintings. This exhibition will feature three well-known techniques in Vietnamese art: oil, lacquer and silk painting.

The painters showcased in this exhibition are all graduates of the Hanoi Institute of Fine Arts and the Hue institute of Fine Arts; they are Le Quan, whose floral paintings are characterized by vivid colors and bold, dramatic stokes, lacquer painter Vo Xuan Huy, whose painting are more abstract, thus differing from his predecessors and oil painter Pham Hoang Anh, whose dreamy and ethereal paintings of the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hue are highly regarded.

Gallery V strives to bring the best art from Vietnam to Singapore. In addition, 10% of all sales proceeds will go towards building schools, repairing roads and providing scholarships for fine art studies in Vietnam.
