Born in Lintau 1973, West Sumatra. 

He Graduated from SMSR Yogyakarta, majoring in Fine art in 1993, 

then he continued to study at FSR ISI Yogyakarta. 

He had solo exhibition in Both Indonesia and Singapore.

In 2004, he had been selected to participate in Multi Sub Culture in Berlin Germany. 

In 1998, he won the Karya Lukis Terbaik FSR ISI Yogyakarta and Finalis Indonesia Art Award V and in 2003, Finalis Indonesia Art Award X. 

Approaches his painting according to themes. 

They reflect the artist wide range of interest, from Buddhism to greek mythology to music. Meditative, ecovative and moody, Alfi’s work combines form with mark-making-doodles,scribbles and other drawing devices.

Like his fellow group member, Alfi has exhibited widely around Indonesia as well as in group shows in Hongkong, Paris, Singapore and shanghai. 

He’s also had a number of solo exhibition in Singapore and Jakarta in the past several years.
