“What about Us” presents differing narratives of the perceived human in contemporary society. By juxtaposing the use of character and milieu, Zhou Quan and Francis Poon creates vivid imagery of the relationship between human and habitat. Zhou's series of works “Machine” explores the human condition narrated in a seemingly illogical flow, while Poon's series “Peoples' Peoples' People”comments on the intertwined morphosis of human specie and its advacements. The inherent irony in the genre is approached by both artists with a delicate dash of quirk and humour.
