Artists Zero and OneTwoDelta attempt to manifest themselves as storytellers; by recollecting and remembering past episodes and scrutinising the obscurities and enigma hidden within. These complex imageries are synthesized with each artist's trademark style, and represented onto works of Art.

The exhibition redefines stigmas and recaptures memories. It plays at the artists' separate recollections and breaks the facade of boundaries through dissection, deconstruction and twisted interpretation.

About the Artists:

Zero and OneTwoDelta started from their time as members of the artist collective Artvsts, their initial experience of broaching the metaphorical boundary between gallery vs. street came from participating in Seni: Singapore 2004 when Artvsts was invited to intervene, react and create responses to works by other participating artist collectives such as Big Sky Mind, Spacekraft, 16Beaver and Project304 within the exhibition. Using wall graffiti and installations, Artvsts responded artistically with its creation of Pencerobohan Askar Kapitalis (The Invasion of the Capitalist Army), Weapons of Mass Distraction? and Are U Being Watched, Cos We are Watching. They progressed from there, individually expanding their crafts and artistic field.

Zero
A member of art collective ARTVSTS, ZERO's works revolve around street culture, pop culture and current affairs; trying to create a dialogue and social commentary through his art. His works constantly tries to integrate and negotiate the function of design and advertising within the framework of conceptual and traditional fine arts.

ZERO has been involved in numerous events and exhibitions and have been an integral part in the growth of ARTVSTS collective since its formation in late 2003. ZERO is one half of the INGLORIOUS RASCALS and also an Associate Artist with the Substation.

OneTwoDelta
OneTwoDelta, a graphic designer and illustrator, is known in Singapore’s graffiti scene for his black and white illustrations. Alternatively to aerosol spraycans, his medium is paint and brushes. OneTwoDelta mingles Art with lifestyles and all intimate around him. From 2005 to now, Shahril had participated in numerous exhibitions in various venues in Singapore, Spain, United States, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Shahril is also a member of a 7 artists collective ‘ARTVSTS’.
