Artist(s): LIU Xuanqi
Date: 23 Sep - 9 Oct 2011

Floating Clouds” will feature artworks of XuanQi’s signature “Yellow Rubber Duckling” and Clouds with various topics from famous icons & brand and a special dedication to the Royal Wedding.

XuanQi felt Life is like “floating clouds”. There are millions of clouds in the sky and the diversity of the clouds is controlled by the wind.

Cloud has no roots and is always confronted by the condition in the sky just like human’s life - destiny is unpredictable. Wind does not have any orientation and it will carry the cloud to whenever the wind travel.  Our life is a mystery and fills with changes that we always hope for status quo and comfort which is impossible.

Clouds are immaculate but still will be carried away to thousand miles by the wind. It is a reflection of our mental state of mind but ultimately our heart will dictate our decision in life.

May “Floating Clouds” bring hopes and pleasure to our life and to all of the viewers!
