Genevieve Chua (b. 1984) researches the fear of the unknown through a multi-disciplinary practice. This process involves the appropriation of Southeast Asian horror towards alternative narratives. These new stories are often realised through installation, websites, photography or drawing.
Chua graduated from Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts in 2004. Chua is a recipient of the Young Artist Award (2012), conferred by National Arts Council, Singapore.
