Smell and See the Hope of Coffee Paintings whilst helping to Prevent Cruelty to Animals
by Forth Art Gallery
Location: Forth Gallery
Artist(s): Pornchai LERTHAMASIRI
Date: 15 Dec - 28 Dec 2009

In recent years Singapore has seen an increasing rise in pet ownership. This is a sign that people are becoming more aware of how pets and animals in general can bring joy to their lives. However, there is a darker side. Many pets are being abandoned with no one to care for their welfare and cruelty towards animals remains prevalent in Singapore. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is constantly looking to help increase the awareness of the importance of caring for animals. On December 15 until December 28, 2009, Mr Pornchai Lerthamasiri, Coffee Artist in collaboration with SPCA will be organising an art exhibition to raise funds for their mission. The exhibition will be held at The Forth Gallery in Chinatown and members of the public will be able to view paintings by Mr Pornchai Lerthamasiri, a Thai painter who paints using coffee.
