The exhibition is an intriguing showcase of Singapore-based Alpana Vij’s subtly-expressive and highly-sensitive portraits of women of seemingly neutral temperaments. The artist acquires inspiration through the search for the element of raw, unassuming co-existence in the presence of commonality in human existence. Alpana Vij holds a Fine Arts degree from the College of Art, New Delhi (India).
