Indonesian artist, Nano Warsono, will exhibit a selection of new paintings and sculptures at ART SEASONS. This is Nano Warsono's first solo exhibition in Singapore. 

As part of the internet-savvy generation of Indonesian artists, Nano plunders the riches of mass media collaterals for artistic intervention. The world reaches his doorstep with ease and he deliberately calibrates his artistic language to global pop culture. The characters that populate his paintings and sculptures are immediately recognisable to just about anyone.

Nano's love of comic books is perpetuated throughout his works. His re-presentation of the comic book icons comes from an informed understanding of the graphic novel which forms the basis for his deconstructive interventions that result in a game of peek-a-boo on conventional codes.
