Born in Santa Monica, California in 1969, New York residing artist, Shingo Francis’ latest exhibition will be presented in Galerie Paris of Yokohama. He is known for his large installation works and his “Blue’s Silence” and “Silent Light” painting series. As a member of the curatorial collective Hatch Art, Francis has organized international exhibitions in Yokohama and Los Angeles since 1996. Having studied studio art and psychology, Francis’ works influences viewer’s emotions. He was chosen to exhibit his works at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, “Ties Over Time” exhibition.
