Gana Art is pleased to open a solo exhibition by Young-Hoon Ko, a leading artist of hyperrealism painting for 40 years. 8th exhibition after 2006 will visualize constantly maintained original form of existence in a flow of time.
Ko showed a start of unique hyperrealism painting with Korean factors including Taoism and Zen. Starting during 1980s to 1990s, he has settled the world of illusion, showing mysterious fantasy through a fusion of objets representing nature and Easter and Western old books, a symbol of civilization.
In the new exhibition, 35 works including Pottery series will be featured. The artist break a gap between reality and illusion so that finds a new direction heading for the monistic world between time to nature and temporal progression.
