'Illusion Space' exhibits artworks derived from a question about classical visual system. Four participating artists started doubt for classical visual system and a change of existing visual system, but they show the different output in painting, photograph or sculpture.
Seon Ki Park has concentrated on a difference between each visual perception for object and space. Through an equipment of perspective, the artist shows a question for modern visual system which has made illusion constantly. His objet is away from single focus, and expresses such a form of Cubism as embodied in various ways.
Jun Kim's work is mixed images of model's tattoo or photographed ceramics. However, actually these are a combination of virtual images using 3D Max program, don't exist in reality. At this point, 'Hyper Realism' can be found in his work.
Yong Gwan Kim tries to dissolve perspective, which is normatively accepted, in a extreme method. He removes perspective or emphasizes it extremely, it means that he tries to get rid of the top-and -bottom structure through former way, and to form distorted illusion with using latter one, so that it gives a feeling of being in a strange place to viewers. The space of distorted illusion makes a doubt for a natural thing, and it also makes us realize it is not natural.
Seung Mo Park, who shows a form of human body and object realistically through layered stainless steel net, makes an 'illusion space' as making people mistake hollow space for filled one.
'Illusion space' exhibition will be a chance to meet inventions by inventors who make own visual system beyond the existing one made only for people's advantage.
