Art Seasons Gallery is pleased to announce “Idiolect: Contemporary Art from Asia” presenting 22 significant artists in this region.
This exhibition brings together some of the critical artworks from Asia. We invite the viewers to navigate from Ma Luiming’s performance photography, reflecting the 90’s radical Chinese avant-garde art, to David Chan’s uncanny portrayal of transmuted human figures. Without an underlying theme to bracket the artworks, the diverse artistic processes and ideologies – from painting to multimedia objects – nevertheless amass challenging dialogues about transformed lifestyles, political controversies and historical identities. We give you an array of idiolects of the contemporary art scene.
