Gallery Factory is pleased to open a group exhibition by Jaeminii Kim, Woori, and Hanae Utamura, who works based upon the theme of easily disappearing objects. The artists recreate old works, plan a completely new ones. or express how to conserve artwork on a work process. Infinite dilemma of arts, a relationship between 'impermanence and ephemerality,' and 'eternity,' will be resurfaced through the artists' works.
The exhibition refuses 'impermanence' in a methodological perspective. The exhibition itself becomes an experimental place, and finds an answer for doubt, whether artwork can be recreated in a relationship with the audience, with subjectivity.
Jaeminii Kim makes a certain form in the air, and hangs water pocket on it with thin thread. Woori installs one of 'Toilet' series works, 'blooming flower' made of recycled toilet paper, on the floor. Hanae Utamura shows video works of performance, wiping Sahara desert or tourism attractions with a wet mop, which seeks for eternity of performance art.
