In Ha, Sang Rim’s artwork, the space is filled in with elaborated lines that convey a sense of reverence. The lines are more vivid and full of vital power that had developed than of previous works of 2010, while it is pliable and on the other hand, which is keen. By observing her works, the thickness of each lines are crossing with each other that renders a considerable space and the viewers could notice it is an image with layer upon layer. In her works, it creates an illusion for example, like a viewer losing his path in a jungle while the space is continuously associated with the partial grass. Nevertheless, the magnificence impression of the landscape is by the method of close-up shot, which occurs from the wide variation point of view. The viewers naturally feel that his body becomes smaller.
A landscape is utilized in various perspective which mostly the method express the sublime and wonder of nature which the purpose is to derive the loneliness and desire of human. To see the nature closely, the artist by crouching her body she then observes it with a humble position. It could be easily noticed that the colors of the artwork has been changed. The colors of the face and lines have been simplified and in overall it appears as an intensive effect. Yet the moderated two lines bring in rich colors that are also transformed by the subtle colors. The accumulated colors penetrate the insight and agony of the artist. The artist mentions that the selection of the colors is a significant moment during the artwork process. Meanwhile, through her artworks, the artist had ruminated on her converted attitude of the artist’s life, also which the core is the existence that is based on ‘will of life’.
