Founded in 1994, Gallery Simon has been one of the most respected art galleries in Korea, appreciating the relevance and beauty of the contemporary art. We hold significant premiere collections of both Korean and international artists and plan to continually participate in renowned Korean and international art fairs.
Gallery Simon annually presents the traditional group exhibition, known as "Simon's Friends", featuring artworks by Moon Beom, Rhee Ki-bong, Noh Sang-kyoon, Hong Seung-hye, Choi Sun-myung and Kwon Yong-rae. We facilitate our audience to reach profound understanding to enjoy the flow of the contemporary art as well as the artists' ubfailing faith and soul penetrated in their works.
Another outstanding exhibitions was a remarkable exhibition "Digital Transition" group exhibition of 2006, newly introducing artists with digital varieties, including Alan Rath, Daniel Roizin, Jim Campbell, Jenny Holzer, Ku Ja-young, Lincoln Schatz, llia Lialina and Vuk Cosic.
As part of Gallery Simon's ongoing self-evaluation and improvement, we encourage artists' to participate more actively in exhibitions while investigating for new artists with the breath of vision. To remain as foremost environment of its field, Gallery Simon continually engages with more various collectors as well as a wide range of art communities in Korea.
