For one, we all watched that movie with Mr. DiCaprio so we know. And yes, the big hairdo is gone for real.

There is a pond at the end of my garden.

Lots of plants are growing in there.

Acorus Calamus, Caltha Palustris, Equisetum Hyemale Affine, Cyperus Longus, Primula denticulata lavender…

So much so that you can’t even see the water. But you know there are frogs living there. It is not that you see them. Nor do they make any noise.

Everyday this beautiful diva-like grey cat visits my garden. She is one of those who likes being appreciated. She appreciates the attention. When she is lovey-dovey and you ignore her, even though not intentionally, but just happens to be, she will jump onto your lap and stretch her body onto your chest. She puts her face right in front of yours. She stares into your eyes.

Something happened between us?

Anyway, it’s not like it’s only me, is it? The entire Riversdale is at your feet, I bet.

Yesterday was different.

She comes in with a frog in her mouth.

Dead or playing dead on frog’s part, who knows. But it looks pretty dead to me. Its skin looks rubbery. All is stretched out. All deadly. Being straightened the legs are incredibly long.

I am happy I am not her play-thing of the day today.

Football match is on. Helicopters are in the air. Crowd goes crazy.

The high wooden fences.

The big plants.

The tall trees.

All doesn’t count in this place. All is missed and all is well.

Eat your apple under the water. Incredibly noisy, the sound is sealed around your skull. Claustrophobic.

Isn’t this why you left your homeland, motherland, whatever you call it? Isn’t it just perfect when everyone speaks this unfamiliar language and you have zero idea what is going on around you? What a relief!

Jump into the water, it is so cool and chilled. Nobody minds. I certainly couldn’t care less. As the time goes by, your second language becomes almost as good as the mother tongue.
