The artist Woo Lim Lee, making unrealistic landscape with existing objects, holds the solo exhibition 'walking on air' at fnart space. This is for new works after two years of his previous exhibition at Gallery Bennett in New Jersey.

Woo Lim Lee started getting an attention with 'Dream' series in 'Life Landscape' at Seoul Museum of Art in 2004. Depicting chilling atmosphere as a peaceful dream, the series made him as a popular artist. After it, he has participated in major art fairs in Beijing, Singapore, Cologne, Chicago and Miami.

In this exhibition, his new series 'Walk' is on view. Among those works, there are dreamlike-faced people in blue and a place where crossing reality and unreality like the previous ones. The artist collects objets from memory, reminiscence and imagination for work. As mixing them with real or unreal factors, the artist creates an entirely new landscape. Also, there is new factor coming up unlike the previous series. He presents Korean old painting as a background so that it intensifies a realistic feeling. People with a face in blue look like a doll but it is unidentified that where they exist. The artist hopes audiences find a shelter of their minds through dreamlike images in his works.
