Showing humorous work, Jooho Kim likes drawing. In his atelier, there are many drawings on the large wall, and these are recreated as multi-dimensional sculpture made of clay, wood or steel.
Steel has commonly used for sculpture as maximizing solid or sharp quality of it. However, Jooho Kim shows it as the extended version of flat drawing. Rather than casting method, he cuts iron by plasma and sticks together using argon arc welding, so that the art work emphasizes flat characteristic but doesn't have a cold feeling. Softness of his work reveals light and vivid feeling like drawing.
