Gallery LVS is pleased to announce a group exhibition entitled 'Time that Become Memory' by three Korean artists.
The title 'Time that Become Memory' implies many concepts. It shows a will to overcome limit of time and space as developing a new history and suggesting a possible space. First of all, In-Kyoung Kwon says that there is 'Heart-Land' existing in people's minds individually, which starts from evasion of trauma or pain in the reality. The artist created such utopian view as collage work with Oriental materials.
Second is by artist Chaegang Jeon. Images in her work are recreation of Korean landscape collected from internet and special materials, and this is the artist's effort to observe Korean society objectively and a side of subjective society delivered to the audience.
Oh-Shin Kwon interprets mysterious sense from personal memory and expresses it with lithograph in dreamlike mood.
These artists present unique collage and forms as surpassing time and space so that the audience can experience sharing the other fictional space.
