by Gallery Skape
Location: Gallery Skape
Artist(s): Suejin CHUNG
Date: 8 Apr - 18 May 2014

Suejin Chung's solo exhibition 'The Advent of Multidimensional Creatures' will be held at Gallery Skape after three years. Covering multidimensionality of painting and mutuality of an object based on own visual language, the artist expresses them more specific in the exhibition.

His painting starts from a combination process of conscious and unconscious, life and inanimate, material and corporeality and immateriality, and visible and invisible worlds. His works with linking various objects and existences with picture's dimension complexly look quire complicated and abstruse but they are basically based on a mix of the object's basic substances, color and form. Such combination arouses conscious of multidimensional creature, visual language (painting). Thus, his painting is where the multidimensional world frequents and divided worlds by human can be coincided with each other.

Ultimately, Chung's recent works trace history of humans back and reorganize divided logic and idea in the world as the multidimensional structure.
