SongEun ArtSpace will present an exhibition titled Me and You in a Living Room : Artists from the Ricard Foundation Award, featuring eight promising young French artists selected amoung the past Ricard Awardees. The works featured in the exhibition are indicative of the way in which France’s artistic life has addressed facts and values, with a focus on the meaning of the art award and its role in the contemporary art scene.
Since 1999, the Ricard Foundation has annually awarded a young and talented French artist with the Ricard Foundation Award, in support of the contemporary art scene in France. To date, there are a total sixteen awardees whose works have been placed in the permanent collection of the Pompidou Museum.
