To celebrate 50 anniversary of Samtan, parent company of SongEun Art and Cultural Foundation, SongEun Art Space is delightful to announce the 2012 collection of Korean and foreign artists. Through this exhibition, SongEun Art Space looks back the purpose of foundation established to support and find young talented artists and history of past exhibitions, art award and other services to move forward. The title "Testing Testing 1.2.3" means the common used word when checking a microphone before announcement. The exhibition is separated as two series; the first is the collection of Korean artists and the second one is about foreign artists. 
Collection of Korean artists consists of some collection the foundation has and new artworks collected in this year. SongEun Art and Cultural Foundation has focused on discovering and supporting unknown talented artists, and developing capabilities of artists through SongEun Art Award and managing SongEun Art Space. Last 12 years, artworks of artists who have awarded the grand prize have been introduced, but other awarded artworks have never had a chance to show to the public. Considering this point, the first exhibition by Korean artists will show the major interests and other activities of the foundation, and be composed of artworks which express differences between past and present, reality and ideal, memory and truth and generations. 
In the second exhibition by foreign artists, American pop artworks and other art objects inspired by pop art. Pop art was developed in early 1960s and affected by a representational painting. Usually, images in daily life, such as cartoon, commercial design, still cut in the movie or television. The popularity and abstractness of Pop art attracts to European and Korean young artists, as well as american, and even influences to the design industry. In this exhibition, represent artists of Pop art, Roy Lichtenstein, Tom Wesselmann, and Andy Warhol, and other artists who shared interests in pop culture and mass media, like Damien Hirst, Cinday Sherman and Jeff Koons.
