By dealing with Korea's near future, 'Priapism’project attempts to draw on the picture of Korea's future with SF-tic imagination. SF seems as an absurd fantasy, but it also works as a great vision for the future. This project, as a method of maintaining Korea's before and after economic boost with the architectures and their variations, which are rockets, is a media installation, video work that figuratively represent an aspect of a civil engineering country.

In the first work of 'Priapism' project, "Sustainable World" attempts to represent Korea's aspect that consistently advances in a singular direction toward a future through a repeatedly constructing and corroding city. Through a past large-scale engineering works, Korea has overcome the war and achieved the rapid growth. However, current Korea has stopped the rapid growth and entered into a stagnant period, admiring the past and focusing on achieving back the energy of the past rapid growth period. Korea's slogan during the early 2000, 'Dynamic Korea' clearly represents such passion. However, 'Dynamic Korea' can be understood with an idea that people by then accepted the aspect of Korea, which hardly maintained the nation with the energy from the repetitive redevelopment without the resulting products from before and after industrialization and economical development bringing the tradition of the future, as a national identity.

The second work of the 'Priapism' project, 'Launch Pad' compares the skyscrapers, which are the motivation for Korea's new growth as space launch vehicles, attempting to suggest the important role of architectures in Korea. The rocket launch competition among advanced countries is an action that shows off the national status and scientific achievements. As rockets, the skyscraper construction competition in economically developing countries suggests the symbolism of the phallic worship with the long for the future. With sudden explosive power, rockets put satellite, people and many other things onto the orbit. However, they only function as a method of moving the objects and extinct after use. Similarly, architectures in Korea only motivate for new growth, hardly like leading them to cultural values. Moreover, Korea's cities with consistent redevelopment only resemble the Launch Pad that is created for incessant launch. With this aspect, by suggesting an idea of modifying the newly planned DMC tower, Songdo Incheon tower, Second Lotte World Tower into a rocket form, it attempted to show Korea's multi-facet aspects that is similar to the plane 'Challenger' that exploded in an attempt to leap to the future.
