Gallery Dam is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Osaka based artist, Toshimatsu Kuremoto, featuring sculptures. He recently starts having interest in a sculpture. As showed in the exhibition in 2012, Kuremoto expresses a will to overcome loneliness of contemporary people. His wooden sculptures with tin show salaryman's daily life. Scratch by a small knife is like scars left by the real life. Also, he creates different types of eyes on the sculpture to express different sides of human personality.
This is Kuremoto's 21st exhibition, and 15 new works from 'Boring smile,' 'A great person,' 'A wanderer at times,' and 'Living by shifts' will be on view.
