Gallery Dam is pleased to introduce Myung Sook Kim's 17th solo exhibition. The exhibition shows many portraits of people who influenced on the artist emotionally, such as an old lady who used to live in her atelier or blind boy on the street. Also, faces of artists, philosopher and people on a news paper are a topic of her study.
Her portrait is parallel to a value of Oriental painting, putting a spirit on painting as well as creation of the person's face. That is, the artist tries to integrate with the person in the spirit.
In this exhibition, 10 works showing deep pain and life through traces of a pencil will be on display.
