The artist name "Sinzow" was chosen by herself. The word "Sinzow" in Japanese can be a man's name, the heart, or mindscape. When I first heard her name "Sinzow" I immediately thought of "heart", looking at her artwork invokes feelings of blood flowing through the art like the human heart does.
An art piece Sinzow painted 12 years ago of her grandfather's face was brilliant. The way the grandfather and grandchild look at each other is filled with so much raw emotion that it pierced my heart. After one of Sinzow's exhibit's last year I was vividly reminded of psychiatrist Carl Jung's concept of "mindscape".
Sinzow's artwork reflects this world of mindscape. Sinzow's artwork depicts the human physical form as well as the inner feelings and emotions. The heart of the human body is too elegant a term to describe her work, her brush strokes are gripping, as she has adopted the name to stir people's hearts. Sinzow has shown she is no ordinary person, as it has resonated in her work.
