Soo Yeon Lim paints towns and roads in her memories as recomposing them with a hair pencil on Korean paper. The artist shows images with non-text as a series in the shape of a fairy tale book. This is her wish that we fall into her imagination when reading a book. Artworks in the exhibition follows the same flow of previous one, and these express her imagined garden in red colour unlike the reality. In this exhibition, 15 new artworks, including 'Uncharted Village' and 'Caribou Field', will be displayed.

Artist Statement
Fast and complicated changing world. And the world, where emphasizes and imposes the change. In here, I dream esthetics and simplicity of slowness. 
The places where I met by accident in an ordinary life, a small abbey, garden with an appetizing fruit tree, and a small fountain  in a park I took a rest in the last summer.. My rest in these places gives consolation and piece to physical and mental exhaustion. Also, the interesting stories from strangers bring me to that place a story happened. These moments in my life become my imaginings and being placed in my mind. reindeer in a forest, a town with red scenery, and a forest of weeping willow are my inner escapeway from the reality and own secret places. This exhibition 'Uncharted Village' is where we dream a time of purity and romance which are latent in our minds.
