Photographer Song Jung-keun is having a solo exhibition 'Polarity' at Gallery KONG in Seoul. This is the first solo exhibition in Song's twenty-year career as a professional photographer. His work reflects his introspection on his own experiences of emotional polarity and societal polarity.

The exhibit contains three series: Winter, Cloud and Ocean. Using water as his subject, he captured the shapes of water, which can change dramatically based on such factors as temperature, wind, and location. 'Winter' comprises photos of frozen rivers; 'Cloud' photos captured moments from floods; and 'Ocean' includes photos portraying the sublime aspects of the ocean.
His works present a novel visual experience, for they used nature as an objet by employing the methods of extreme verticality and horizontality.
