The second solo exhibition by Yiyun Kang, the representing Korean media artist, will be opened at Gallery K.O.N.G. Yiyun Kang graduated from Seoul National University in 2006, and started working the media art at UCLA in U.S., has received a great attention. In 2009, she was selected by Seoul Museum of Art for the young artists exhibition, and introduced to the Korean art market.
Art works in her first solo exhibition showed minimized technique and warm and calm media images using paper or cotton, which helped her to be at the center of the development of Korean media art.

In this time, 'Scene series', digital print work and 3D animation, and 'Fragile series', new digital print works based on a video, will be introduced. Those provide opportunities to feel comfortable in a virtual space she made and to get closer to the media art world, rather than other works overflowing with eye candy.
