This work started to identify 'existence of mind.' There are two ways to identify the existence. One thing is 'EGO.' But it does not come alone. The two things which form EGO art 'TIME' and 'RELATIONSHIP.' The time which is a vertical axis is tim a person has been through. And the relationship which we can call as horizontal axis is the one made with other people. People confirm their existence through other's eyes. Therefore, to exist there should be accumulation of the time that made in the relationship.
If so, can we completely identify the existence when we carry all of these accumulation that we have not been aware and check through our eyes? With this question, I wanted to know how young people living recognize EGO. so I cast number of people and wrapped them with their clothes, things they always bring, they like and they hate, then I got photos done. While doing the project, their faces were covered and they had a hard time to breath. They were scared by this situation.
It should be because of the fear comes from an emptiness of the existence, isn't it? Through seeing an image of empty ego by this work which showing skins of others' eyes and time, I wish people get a chance to recognize where they are and what they are by themselves.
