Kim Jae Sun Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of Seung-Seop Lim-Plastic Fairytales.
Seung-Seop Lim’s art pieces are based on the child's appearance or character, which is portrayed as a personification of certain animals. The theme of his works contains the familiar story as a fairy tale. People can reach out to the public without reluctance. It aims to widen the range of the destination that we can watch and enjoy. Also, it narrows the gap between the understanding by brain and appreciating by the eyes. As with a form of existing fairy tales, his work also reflects the current era and its wit and satire help to better understand and empathize.
One of his work, 'Insomnia', introduced by South China Morning Post, and other works have got great attentions from Hong Kong art lovers during Art Basel Week.
