We will show an exhibition of Nigel Hall who is a representative of England, global contemporary sculptor, and a master of geometric abstract-sculpture from 14th through 24th of this June.

Nigel Hall is a sculptor who expresses his inspiration from the communication with nature in his works through his unique style with specific languages of geometric. He has his own aspect as an artist; he usually think of 'hands' to work and don't easily sympathize with linguistic amusement of idea. It is an emphasis that the roles of 'hands' are harmonized to role of 'intelligence' in all his work. Glossy wood or steel are usually used in his sculpture, all things and experiences are created to geometric lines and sides which were restructured; and these composition and structure show the shape of work could be harmonized to the space through mutual interaction. There will be showed his works in this exhibition that were inspired from his various experiences and created to geometric shaped sculptures such as an appearance of a boatman's rowing on gondola in Venezia of Italy, narrow mountain's ranges and valleys of a border area between Swiss and Italy, and view of backyard and pond in Changduk palace where he visited few years ago; and they could show their aesthetic of volume and grand emotion formatted by light and shadow. Moreover you could see new three-dimensional place could be created through his works. This Nigel Hall's exhibition of UrbanArt will be very innovative, fresh and also serious that we haven't seen this kind of exhibition recently.
