PYO Gallery South presents the solo exhibition of Chinese artist, Lin Tian Lu. He graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, where the representative Chinese contemporary artists, Zhang Xiaogang, Feng Zhengjie and Tang Zhigang, studied. For this exhibition, Lin shows 17 new monotone works.
Lin Tian Lu uses black or solid color, rather than vivid one which modern people are more familiar with, so that the viewers can feel strange from his works. As removing colors intentionally, the artist tries to pursue an essence in depth. Realistically described work progressed for a long time looks like a stone sculpture on canvas.
At the new exhibition, 'Golden Age,' 'Runaway Youth,' and 'At that Time' series are on display. Lin Tian Lu is struggling with complicated process for himself like contemporary people's lives.
