Die Galerie presents an exhibit by one of the artists selected for their project, “Finding Young Artists of Korea.” Through the project, the gallery supports emerging artists by sponsoring their exhibitions.

Through her work, artist Chu Mi-rim expresses her perspective on various 21st century subjects, especially the Internet and its role in society.

The artist regards the Internet as “a huge place that is like a city” and “is comprised of numerous pixels that represent ourselves.”

In this world, an image is enlarged so that the individual pixels are seen and each individual pixel represents a person.

The artist sends a strong message about the effects of advances in science and technology on humans’ struggle to create a utopia.
