Landscape of Life, Cynical Attitude behind Laughter
In her recent works, her interests in individuals and relationships are depicted more detailed and delicate. The theme to reflect this is the new exhibition 'Tread Softly, As You Walk Away.' The phrase, derived from the poem 'Azalea Flower' by Sowol Kim, is paradoxical and dualistic; two words 'softly' and 'tread' are contradictory. There are both laugh and crying, and cynical smile and humor existing in the phrase. The artist's point of view is very cynical, but her work is not. characters in 3D animation made it caricatured. Being cynical means to being humane. Unlike an appearance, they are ready to embrace the world.
