Especially, Indonesian art is growing gradually since it has abundant culture from a mix of different languages and ethnics for a long time. During the colonial era in early 20th century, they formed unique culture mingling own identity and western culture. And recently, the artists reveal their political and social messages and use various expressions and themes for mass culture. With J-pop art, such as Takashi Murakami and Yoshimoto Nara, Japanese contemporary art has been evolved through various genre and mediums and received good attention from the world. The one thing we should focus on is that all art expressions in contemporary art have the equivalent value. Again, Ukiyoue's simplicity, the planar characteristics, and fanciness, which are the characteristics of Japanese traditional art, and Japanese pop art coexist in various art genre.
