Water and light are the oldest symbol and linked closely with healing. Water has been used as a symbol of healing, rescue and revival in Christianity. Especially baptism using water represents recovering a similarity between God and a man, and purification and sin. Also, light is a spiritual symbol with physical element, as well as a symbol of a transcendent territory.
Thus, the artist uses both water and light as sourceful materials, and has focused on how they conduct a cure function and can be expressed it. The artist has pursued an infinite possibility and experiment of textile art, and expressed various actions of light. Beyond original territory of it, Yoon will introduce new design works using jacquard and digital print.
